Steve has been involved with the company since its inception and has taken on the role to provide,
algorithm development for both iOS and Android devices while also having worked on the firmware of the wearable.
Steve’s passion surrounds biomedical applications for at-home or remote diagnostic care, leveraging the wireless connectivity and computational power of today’s mobile devices. He’s worked on projects such as developing rapid diagnostic test readers to diagnose malaria, TB, and other more complicated diseases as well as lens-free holographic microscopes. He’s also spearheaded a summer course elective in Korea educating 10,000 middle schoolers on web-based malaria diagnosis and what it was like to be a diagnostician.
In his spare time, Steve enjoys reading, primarily sci-fi, fantasy and manga.
